Ardmore East

(U3O8 Limited 100%)

The Ardmore East project (EPM 15006) is located around 80 kilometres south-east of Mount Isa in Queensland, in the Eastern Creek Volcanic sequence. On EPM 15006, the Eastern Creek Volcanic comprise mafic volcanics with intercalculated sandstones, which are both deformed and metamorphosed. Underlying the volcanics are sandstone-dominated units of Haslingden Group, principally the Mount Guide Quartzite.

The three significant reported uranium deposits hosted by the Eastern Creek Volcanics in the Mt Isa area, on the western side of the Precambrian inlier of northwest Queensland are Valhalla, Skal and Andersons Lode, all of which have geological similarities to the Ardmore prospect. Several vein-type uranium occurrences occur in the tenement area with airborne channel signatures. A uranium channel radiometric anomaly ("Black Sunday anomaly") is over 500 metres long and 200 metres wide occurs along strike and to the north. The uranium mineralisation at the Black Sunday anomaly is located on the upper contact between an altered basic tuff and Mount Guide Quartzite. The primary uranium mineralisation is brannerite, with secondary mineralisation as carnotite, tyuyamunite and meta-autunite.

At Black Sunday, significant uranium mineralisation has been discovered over an open ended strike length of 200 metres, with costean intersections of 6.5m @ 0.21% U and 3.0m @ 0.33% U.

U3O8 Limited has recently flown a detailed magnetic and radiometric survey over the tenement area but results have not been received to date. Following receipt of data, field checking of anomalies will be undertaken, followed by drilling.
